A Beaufort, North Carolina Wedding on the Crystal Coast Lady
Maddie and Kristin’s wedding day in Beaufort felt like a love letter to the Crystal Coast. From start to finish, the day was filled with beauty, intention, and so much heart.
We began their day surrounded by towering trees, where soft coastal light filtered through the branches as Maddie and Kristin shared quiet moments together during portraits. There was an ease between them that made everything feel natural and unforced, the kind of calm that only comes from deep love and trust.
From there, we made our way to the historic Beaufort Hotel for portraits that felt timeless and elegant. The setting added a classic, romantic touch to their gallery and was the perfect complement to the softness of the day.
The celebration then carried us onto the water aboard the Crystal Coast Lady. As the boat glided through the sound, nature showed up in the most incredible ways. Wild horses roaming nearby islands, dolphins surfacing alongside us, pelicans soaring overhead, and other coastal birds dotting the sky. It truly felt like the entire Crystal Coast was celebrating right alongside them.
Maddie and Kristin exchanged vows just before sunset, surrounded by their closest people and the calm beauty of the water. Their ceremony felt intimate and deeply meaningful, a quiet and powerful moment shared with everyone they love most.
As the sun dipped lower, we spent time on the front of the boat capturing portraits during a breathtaking sunset. The sky softened into warm hues, the water reflected the light, and the evening unfolded in the most beautiful way. Two beautiful souls, committing their lives to one another in one of the most stunning settings North Carolina has to offer.
